If I remove the baffles from my 92 Vulcan 1500A, will I have to have the carbs rejetted or adjusted any? I am scared of carb work since I screwed one up years ago.

Thanks,

No, not usually but be advised you may not get the cool sound you are hoping for since the exhaust still goes through the catalytic converter before it goes to the mufflers.

Ok, forgot about CC. Aside from the rath of all the tree huggers in the world, what affect, if any, would removing the CC have on the performance and/or having to have the carbs rejetted, etc. Thanks,

Don't think there's a cat on a 92. There is a resonator to help manage sounds, but there's nothing in there.

Well, that is good to know. But it still might sound a bit like a fart in a tin can. The problem with taking it off is the routing of the pipes would have to me modified and some extensions fabricated.
