Hey all,

Can anyone tell me if I have to remove the rear caliper from the carrier when I remove the rear wheel? Wouldn't the whole assembly just come off when I pill the axle? I have a bad valve stem (the stem, not the core).

Thanks!

You will have to remove the caliper to reinstall the wheel, so go ahead and take it off.

A table lift works best if you have access to one. Pay attention to where the parts come from, just go slow. Make note of the belt position on the pulley and the marks on the axle before you start.

No table lift, but I have a cheap bike jack and a milk crate or two... I will definitely take it slow and note axle location. Thanks!
