can I fit a 180/55 rear tyre to my Vulcan 650S...I heard some people have domne no problems ...any ideas...Thankyou

Theoretically possible although will require a wider rear rim, and a sprocket change to recover power; not to mention screw up speedometer/mileage. Handling, braking characteristics.

If you really think less than an Inch more of width is worth it...

well 180/60 then so height the same just the width surely 60 is 60 ….only 20mm wider but would look better

I prefer performance over pretty when it comes to tires.

Nothing wrong when you can get both but if I have to make a choice between them performance wins 10 out of 10 times!

Have a go and be that pioneer that can say I did it.
If it doesn't work, sell the tyres after, share the knowledge from failure and own it with pride.
Mean time. Stock tyres work great for me on this bike.
