I thought I read about an oversized rear tire fixing the speedo error. Can someone advise.

Do they only offer one 200 tire size there? I haven't looked but if it's a 200/70-15 please post it just in case someone wants to buy a similar tire from someone else.

Stock is 180/70/15. Going to a 200/70/15 gets you 4.4% closer on your speedo. Your speedo is about 10% off so you're still off by 5.6%.

The combination of a pulley AND a 200/70/15 gets your speedo dead on.

170/80-15 is 3% larger diameter than stock, and others say 200/70-15 is 4.4% bigger.

I used 170/80-15, and would not work with scootworks front pulley, because at highway speed centrifugal force caused the tire to rub on the black plastic inner fender, which is between the monoshock and the tire.

You'll have to mod the rear splash guard (inner fender) if you run a front pulley and the 200/70-15, FWIW. You could run the larger tire with a rear pulley if ya wanted, but the rear pulleys do cost a bit more.

The Metzler 200/70-15 fits the 900 with no modifications and corrects the speedo to within 1-2 mph (I tested at 65 mph with a GPS) when new. Plus, it just looks better on the bike, and handles (to me) MUCH better than the stock Dunlop ever did.

A couple of rubber bands on a rim would handle better than the stock Dunlop. Wear better, too.
