When new I felt like I was hitting hard in the rear, checked it and found the rear shock is set at Factory for an Avg 150lb rider--set my rear shock up to 5 and it feels sweet for me (1up)---if a lot of 2up riding is possible you might try 6---if you have not adjusted the shock try it before replacing
Hi all I'm new here and just bought a 2009 900 custom it's has Vance and Hines exhaust twin slash cut staggereds
look to do the Baron front and rear pulley
change the 200/70-15 tires in back
then lower it 2" (tighten up suspension if need) will be riding 2 up...
took the battery cover off of the v900 today, and theres a metal clip on the left side, that the screw has to go into,
its non exhaust side, that screws into battery, for some reason, not sure how it goes back in, anybody have a photo or suggestion?
also theres a matching screw...
When I first installed it, flashed at a normal rate, however when I started the bike the flash rate sped up. Gave it some throttle would flash faster, give it some more throttle if stop flashing would get steady stream of light.

I have read some postings on the forum about changing out the front and rear pulleys on the 900. I am considering changing out the front pulley this winter and maybe the back also. I would like to get some feedback from those on the forum that have done one or both.
