I purchased this bike a month ago with 13000 miles on it and it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. When riding, generally accelerating, the read fender rattles. I checked everything including the taillight and license plate holder but can;t find the problem. Anyone out there had a similar issue? I do love the bike-took a 300 mile ride yesterday.
Have someone ride with you and if it makes the noise have them put their hand on the fender to see if it is really the fender and not something else. Could be a sissy bar or saddle bag and a lot of stuff beside the fender.
You put this in the wrong section, it's in the "oil section".. so people may not be reading it.
You probably want to post it inside the 1600 section.
having said that.. take the seat and the side brackets off the fender. Make sure the bolts that hold the fender to the frame are secure. I had that problem once, and that was the issue.
