On my ride home last night I noticde I had no turn signals. At all. Got home no problem. The ambers on the front lit fine. The backs were dark. Turn signal left or right was unresponsive.

Using the 4-way hazard flashers I verified that all the amber lights on all four corners work fine. This morning I replaced a fuse and I had my turn sigs back. I wondered what what blew the fuse in the first place but never gave it much of a thought.

Here's the odd part. Now my right turn signal will not start blinking unless I first turn the signal to the left. Bad switch?

Strange. Put the fuse in backwards? ;)

Seriously, has water got into the switch? Mine acted flakey after a driving rain hit the bike from the rear while it was parked. I had to grease it and work it a few times before it cleared up. But never heard of it blinking the wrong signal.

I did a crappy job explaining the problem. Left doesn't blink the right. Right sig wont blink right unless I first blip the switch to the left first. Any ideas?
