Don't know, the fender of course has to go but is it the same axle? I checked Ron Ayers online fisch for the Classic and the and it's the same axle and spacers, so if you popped the fender off the wheel should go on.

However, that will kick the front end up as the trees are different between the Custom and Classic to make up for the taller wheel. I don't know how to figure trail and rake, but for the bike to handle right you might have to swap the whole front end or none. Anyways, you can use the pages linked above to do some parts research and then go cruise Ebay. I know a guy that swapped out rear fenders/supports/light assy's because he liked the Customs front end but liked the rear end of the Classic.
