Question on RADIATOR GRILLES

Anybody out there install a radiator grill on their bike? Any downsides? Saw one on eBay that looks nice. Might it compromise air flow on my 1500 Vulcan? Any issues installing? Thanks

I haven't seen any issues. Four screws on mine. I suggest hitting them with some penetrating oil they can be hard to get off. I also put a cover on the rectifier.

I actually had to get an impact driver for screws to get those darned Phillips head screws out of mine. They are so tight from the factory mine stripped easily. Once removed, to the garbage they went. Replaced with SS-SHCS and never looked back. I am actually constantly replacing any and all screws I remove with the SS-SHCS type. They look better and last longer, not sure why they chose to use those Phillips screws on everything. Probably my biggest pet peeve on this machine.

No air flow issues I have ever heard of. Get the one you like and run with it!

Man every time I see your ride I am amazed on how it turned out. Frickin' beautiful machine, you did well my friend!

I have my eye on the same radiator cover. Which rectifier cover is that?

Got it off Amazon Dow Chrome Rectifier 03458. About 40 bucks.
