Rear is easy swap, I had Nomad rear on my 1500 Classic. Front takes real work due to different brake discs so I didn't change the front. I don't think the entire forks are interchangeable either due to different rake, etc.

I am in the process of doing this swap on my classic. The rear is a direct swap I used my original brake rotor. The front is a different story and I am doing it in many steps and taking my time so I do not screw it up. It does require having a friend in a machine shop or owning your very own vertical mill to make it happen but it does appear to be doable.

So your machineing the hub on the nomads wheel to match the hub on the classic so ya dont have to change the tree? I had thought about that but not haveing a mill and machine shops get expencive quick i was trying to see if ya can change the whole front tree over but cant find any specs on the frame necks or the bearing diamiters on the 2

Depending on where you live and if you have any High Schools with vocational programs they would more than likely be extremely happy to help. You just have to be patient because it takes longer and it gives kids some experience. If you want to shoot me a personal email I can share with you where I am at in the process and provide some photographs. wytbuflo @ aol . com just make sure to put nomad wheel in subject otherwise I dont open foreign emails.
