This morning about 5:00 a.m. I was awakened by a crash and then the sound of tires spinning on wet asphalt.

By the time I got out of bed and made it to a window, the car was long gone.

The only visible keepsake was a large hole in the fence along my back yard.

After the sun came up, I inspected the area a little better. It looks like they lost control and plowed into the ditch going backward, smacked the fence and backed out, back onto the road.

Two things are keeping a smile on my face though.
The fence belongs to my HOA, and the repair will not cost me anything. (same thing happened in April)
In the light, I was able to find some broken clear plastic and some broken chromed plastic pieces. So, he will at least have some repair bills of his own.:):)

Anyway, I just wanted to vent and call the bastard a coward in some kind of public way.

lol. looks like a good place to put a solid post into the ground...
I am hoping I can pressure the HOA to plant about 4 trees; if they will not do that, then I will suggest some boulders.

My last resort will be to call the city code compliance and have a guard rail or berm installed.

For now I have some safety fence up, so my 80lb Airedale can get some exercise. He gets restless and difficult if he can't go outside.;)
