Has anyone ran across the issue of the Pirelli MT66 being a "tube type" tire????
Will it work on the 08 Vulcan Custom that runs tubeless on front and back??

I've got the MT66 on my 09 custom, front and back. The back has around 7k miles. Front around 1K. A lot better than the Dunlop.

Tube type tires need a tube in them, tubeless can run with or without a tube depends on whether the rim is sealed or not. Tube type tires have a different bead on them that doesn't make them air tight. I'm running a MT66 on the front of my 900 right now. It's a rear tire running backwards on the front. There is a bunch more tread on a rear tire then the front tire. They think that if they give you twice as much rubber on a back then the two will wear out together and you can replace them at the same trying to ensure the two tires will be the same brand/make.
