Lonely Place ?

Wow, looks to be a lonely place in Central and North Ala. Just 3 of us, well I'm not there now but will be back home in Oct.

Not so fast, there are a few of us around. We have a Central Alabama Vulcan riding group that is looking for riders in north Alabama. Great roads up there, great roads down here. Lets get together for a ride.

I've only been here for a few months and I'm not real familiar with the weather in this area, but I'd imagine Oct here in northern Alabama will have the perfect riding weather.

You are correct about the Oct weather in Ala. not only is the weather great but the scenery is beautiful especially up in the mountains. I grew up on 2 wheels in Jasper,Al. and rode from there and northward even in to Dec. some years, of course by Dec. the scenery part is gone but the winding roads make up for that part. will be back home in Oct. but don't know if I will have my Classic with me or not. Safe riding to all, keep-em between the white lines, oh & by the way when it starts cooling off especially up high be on the look out for the Deer because they will be on the mountain roads.

One more fellas, I'm from Gadsden, right at the foot of Mt Cheaha. Best riding is thru Little River. Alabama's very own lil Dragon. Whoever is up my way hit me up, I ride all year long winter, spring, summer, fall. Come to Gadsden ask for Supreme of Durdy Boyz MC.

How do you like the Nomad compared to the 900? Did you get the 1500, 1600, or 1700?
8-Ball i've only got to ride about 12 miles on it since I bought it. So far I really like the power and the low RPM's it turns at 70MPH. It runs smooth and quite which I really like. Still working on windshield height adjustment and adding a few accessory's. Spring/Summer can't get here soon enough. Oh yea it is a 1600.
