is way the crankcase vents an oily mist into the intake. Had the RPM hang problem cause by this and it was solved with some carb cleaner. So I disconnected the vent tube from the airbox and extended it to the ground. I used 5 inches of aluminum 3/8 tubing attached to the factory hose to cross over to the right side of the bike and then used 3/8 Id hose to follow the frame to the ground. I glued a nickel onto the grommet where the hose brought the mist into the airbox.

Since that hose both sucks air in and pushes it out, a filter might be a good idea. Add a Crankcase Breather
I hooked it up to a small plastic trash bag after I hooked it up to see what was actually going on. At idle it slowly started to fill the bag with air and at 2500 rpm it filled it faster. I didn't see any indication of sucking air in or did I see any evidence of oil in the short one minute test with the bag.
