That's not me or my bike. It's just a video I found of the baffles. I do have baffles on my bike though, two sets actually. The Vance & Hines quiet and the Smartpartz Hard Kore baffles. Same story. Not quiet, just dull. Takes the sharpness off the combustion.CRU, they sound similar to my set. Did you need to make any changes to the bike after installing them?
Nope. This is a 900. No manual choke or high idle. It's all controlled by the ECU.I am not sure about this because I havent had a Nomad in Years. but just bought another one. After many years on a road king I finally saw the light and came back. There is a "choke" beside the key but it really isnt a choke. its a high idle that will go in all by itself after the engine starts. I always make sure it goes back in after the bike warms up some. (I think).
I still miss that area. I lived in Cocke county for several years. It’s nice weather here, but riding there was great. If close to Alcoa Tennessee contact Cheyenne at Alcoa Good Times. My second bike with that company. Alcoa Good Times TN: Yamaha, Can-Am, Kawasaki, Sea-Doo Dealer near Knoxville (I don't get anything for this, just been decent to me)
