Just put a new set of Cobra hotrod speedster long pipes on my vn2000. I yanked the baffles before I installed them. I wanted the bike to be loud . Well it is . Almost to loud . I might stick the baffles back in this weekend and see how it sounds with them in.
One thing to be aware of is they do sit lower than stock pipes. I already scraped the end cap making a right hand turn. Only had about 9 miles on the new pipes. As my girlfriend said " You're just scraping the new off " .

I like the V&H Powershots for those reasons. Loud when you crack it, but not too loud when just driving. And, the shape gives more ground clearance for those loaded RH turn situations.
