I know the illustrious state of Caliphornia takes a dim view on aftermarket pipes... however, I'm seriously looking at putting some Cobra Powerpro 2 into 1 pipes on Eljay. Who out there, from here, has put new pipes on their 900 and were there any complications concerning emissions eqipument or modifications when doing so? I assume that the pipes themselves should bolt on without too many complications, but I don't want to leave any stray hoses hanging or ports uncovered. Thanks...

I don't know if 08's have cat converts in the exhaust, but the 09 has a cat in each muffler/can. If Ca uses tailpipe exhaust sniffers, no cats could be a problem.

The pipes should just bolt on; the OEM US 900's (exhausts) don't use O2 sensors like the EU models so no O2 bung is required.
