Just recently purchased an '04 vn2000. Should have inspected a bit before jumping the gun, but have yet to ride it. Took fuel tank off and had rust inside so sent it to get cleaned and re sealed. Itching to take the beast out! Learning little by little the mechanics of how everything works, and look forward to meeting for a ride!

Welcome from Atlantic Canada. You're right...those things are beasts but beautiful bikes. It sounds like it hasn't been ridden in a while. Make sure you check the date code on the tires. Even if they look good if they're over 5 years old they should be replaced. Be sure to post a pic when she's all back together!

Absolutely! Very big plans for her, just slow and steady.

Living in Slidell, grew up in Pearl River! Thanks for the honest and warm welcome everyone!
My wife is working in Slidell for the week. We are in Covington - about 20 min down the road from you.

Can't wait to see some pictures of your new ride.
