Hello again fellow Vulcan owners,

So, the plan is to install Vance & Hines Twin Staggered Black pipes, and likely a V&H Fuel Pak to my 2012 900 Custom next spring. (After the 12 month warranty has expired.)

My question now is, what air intake???

I really like the looks of the "Forcewinder", but there doesn't appear to be an option for the 900 Vulcan.
And I watched a YouTube video on the "Low and Mean" air intake, but I was not able to find anything on their website either.

Does anyone make an air intake kit to install the cone style K&N filter to the 2012, 900 Custom?

Does anyone out there have such an animal installed on their bike?

Comments, suggestions, and pictures would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks folks!

I have the Low and Mean Force Performance Air Intake. It was made and designed specifically for the Vulcan 900. I bought mine last Fall. Looks like Low and Mean has discontinued carrying the intake and only carries the air filter and dress-up accessories. It was very easy to install. I also installed the following at the same time: Hard Krome 2 to 1 side exhaust and Cobra FI2000R Power Pro Tuner. Got about 3,000 miles on the set-up and very pleased with the performance and look.

Maybe you can find a used one.
