No I'm not looking for one! I am the husband of a wonderful lady who learned to ride last year. The bike she learned on was my old 750 Virago, and she did really well on it and enjoyed herself. So, just before Christmas I found an 09 Vulcan 900, not sure what model, Big windshield, floorboards, bags, nice seat pipes, all the stuff she had said would be nice thru the summer.
She loved it when Santa gave her the keys!
My question, since I will be doing all the work/ maintenance on this bike, Is there anything special I need to know or can I get by with just a service manual?

Oil changes which are easy, keep the bike clean and well maintained, tell her to enjoy! Sounds like you have a classic.

howdy and welcome to the forums!

You might wanna post your question down in the 900 section.. where people (who have and are intimate with 900's) can help you better.

Welcome Phil. If you have the two tone paint then you have the Classic Lt. When I got mine I did a fluids change and plugs. Let's see some pics.
