Hello all . I'm new to the forum but not to the bike world. I'm lookimg to buy a vulcan 900 custom this summer for my birthday and wanted to join up to learn some stuff first.

I'm 24
I'm a kawasaki fan. I've had 4 so far along with 2 Hondas.

I currently am a 4 year member of zxforums.com and ride a 2004 zx10r
And have a 82 kz1000 j model project, which is for sale, that's about it in a nutshell

Thanks I have already been looking through the site and searching and found many useful things here. Kz forums was not as user friendly ... I'm about 5 to 6 montha away from getting the bike and I already have a to do list for the vulcan.

Yes. If you get a custom seat. You will not problems with thinner tires as far as the length of the trip goes. Less grip but a bit easier to turn. You will have problems with stock seat on any Vulcan.
