I'm in the Binghamton area, but I'm not riding until it gets a bit warmer. I get down that way quite a bit on weekends during warmer weather though.

Ya me too.....A little cold out here. Looking forward to a warm weekend. Where down here do you ride? IS there a certain path you travel?

I don't really have a particular route that I travel on. I just started riding again late last year, so I haven't gotten down that way on the bike yet. I'm looking forward to getting on Rt. 6 and heading east with the gf on the back. We often spend our weekends at one of the flea markets in the Dickson City area, and then drive around after that. We just love the area...it's not QUITE as depressing as Binghamton is. We also go up around the finger lakes from time to time in NY...all of which have great roads around them. We were in the habit of going down 220 from Sayre towards the Sunbury area (my parents were from there so I spent a lot of time there as a child) and 220 can be a fun road provided all the gas company guys and the water truck drivers aren't filling the roads up.

I'm in Beach Lake, PA. It's about 1 hour from Scranton. I am about 5 minutes from the NY border at Narrowsburg. Have you taken the ride up 97 in NY? It's a nice ride from Port Jervis all the way up to Callicoon. Very nice ride along the Delaware. I own a 1989 EN450 454 LTD. Not sure if you are familiar with this bike. The motor in the 454 is the R & D motor for the Vulcan. Very similiar bike to the VN500. Maybe we can go for a ride once it get's warmer out.
