Need some visual help for my 900 Classic

I just purchased my 2013 900 Classic (Stardust white and flat ebony), I have been on the site all week and have learned a lot. However I have searched the entire 300 and some pages of the picture thread, and I think the first 35 pages of the 900 section and unless I'm missing something, I can only find 2 or 3 pictures of my model and color? I've loved this bike for two years and figured there would be a boatload of info and pics because of it's style, ect.

Also if you google 2013 Vulcan 900 Classic, 99.5% of the pictures that represent my color bike are stock.

I'm going to make the bike my own but I'm just trying to get some visuals to get my mind rolling.

I would love to see some 900's in my color and what their owners have done with them.

Thank you,

I'm picking mine up this weekend, same year and color as yours with the flat black and white with the red double pin stripe. Mine will be new/old stock of course. I have been staring at pictures and the only conclusion I have come to for visual mods is that if I get an aftermarket seat it needs to be a fat/wide one like the mustang touring saddle. Skinny seats would probably look funny. The first thing I want to fix is that ugly swinging front brake line. Not sure what I will do about it but otherwise I am really liking the looks of this bike. Also put some rear footboards on for your passenger. Looks funny having pegs on the back with footboards up front.

If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for yours?
I havent seen this colour scheme. I was actually thinking of painting mine something that sounds similar.
Can you guys post some pictures?
Dark Archer, 6,100.

Turtle, I'm at an airport on an iPad so of course I just can't post a picture easily. However here is a link for one for sale with 12 pictures.

That is the stock color for the 2013 Classic, while the LT is silver/black.

That's a pretty good price - wonder if it was a repo. Good Luck with your new ride.
I found the same bike brand new for $4715 two days ago! dealership just wanted rid of it cause they had no room.
Captblack, pretty sure it was showroom new.

I have looked at almost every members gallery over the last few days, saw a lot of nice bikes, but not one that was my color, unless I missed / overlooked someone. Cant believe it.

Well so far after looking at others bikes, I'm going to throw on a set of 9 inch mini apes in black this spring.

Here's a mod for you. I mounted my cobra sissy bar and luggage rack tonight. My first MOD! Got my bike last weekend. Sticker was $5499. Best deal I could find in driving distance. I also removed the two plastic accent pieces from the rear fender. Personally Once I took them off I couldn't believe how much better it looked.

I almost bought one with that colour scheme (dig it!) but backed out last minute in 2013. A year later ended up on a black over graphite 900. I took a heat gun to the reflectors on the forks and rear fender to soften up the adhesive and remove them. Go slow on the rear fender 'cos it's plastic and might melt but the bike looks smoother without them. I also used a 3/4" unibit on an extension to drill out the screens in the exhaust pipes. Sounds much better. The other night I went roaring by my son on the freeway. He had his window down and told me I was easily heard when not on the throttle but at wot the sound is not obnoxious. The stock chrome exhaust has a bracket that hangs down and is chrome. (I haven't done it yet but) if that were blacked out it would clean up the lower portion of the bike. Same for the bottom of the floorboards. I'm also planning on blacking out the bright hardware that is up against the black engine parts to clean up those areas as well. Finally, two other bikes I've owned I've blacked out the pinch seam on the bottom edge of the gas tank and that also really cleans up the look of the bike. If you picture those changes to the attached photos that may give you some idea/s about which direction to take your ride. Happy Modding and Good Riding to ya! :D
