Idle Air Control (IAC) Valves
The idle air control (IAC) valve is located on the throttle body of fuel-injected engines, where it works with the vehicle’s ECU to electrically regulate airflow to the engine to ensure smooth idling.
Basically the function of a condenser in a coil ignition circuit is to reduce the spark at the contact points as they open in the distributor and thus minimise burning and pitting of the points. Arcing is caused by the effect of self induction in the coil as the points interrupt the flow of current.
Next, Yes, there have been bikes with them from manufacturer. Extra points if you name a bike that has one.
The objective of a turbocharger is to improve an engine's volumetric efficiency by increasing density of the intake gas (usually air) allowing more power per engine cycle. The turbocharger's compressor draws in ambient air and compresses it before it enters into the intake manifold at increased pressure.
I've never ridden one, but would like to. Here's your bonus point.
A mass flow sensor is a sensor used to determine the mass flow rate of air entering a fuel-injected internal combustion engine. The air mass information is necessary for the engine control unit to balance and deliver the correct fuel mass to the engine. Air changes its density with temperature and pressure.
Just when I thought I escaped the nightmare of the diesel f250 today you throw up a picture similar to what I was working on, thanks 😂 now I really feel shafted.
