I bought a new mustang backrest pad for my cobra backrest but apparently I have the one of three cobra sizes this pad isn't for. The mounting holes don't match what's on the bar. I thought about just drilling holes in the back of the pad and installing with aluminum pop rivets. Of course I would seal up the extra holes. Thoughts?

Make a template of where the holes are on your backrest and take to an auto upholstery shop and let them make the change IMO -

Umm well the Mustang pad is probably for the stock sissy bar only. I would think you need a cobra pad for a cobra sissy bar.
