...a guy once approached Jimi Hendrix after a show and said to him, "...You're the greatest guitar player in the world, man!"

Jimi's response...?

"...No man...Phil Keaggy is."

..true story.

I don't know why my buddies get on me for this one...

As a lifelong musician with vast and varied tastes, it would be easier to list what I don't like than what I do. Pop, modern country, (that aint country music) rap and metal. Other than that, bring it on. I will cop to being a deadhead, having seen over 50 shows while Jerry was still alive, so there is that. But today on the bike was Gov't Mule. Sometimes its jazz, sometimes reggae, sometimes bluegrass and sometimes stoner rock. Really depends on my mood I suppose.

rock on.

I’m with you on that: Modern Country is junk with a few exceptions (mostly artists that got started in the 90’s)

Classic Rock , ‘90s Alternative, I like some metal, definitely not Death metal, good country music.

Back in the 70's we would flood the barracks in Okinawa with Bridge of Sighs and Tower of Power. I really Enjoyed the Shamisen. reminded me Kinda of Dead South

My music playlist is eclectic AF

I can start with Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, then go to Kanye West and Drake, then follow that up with Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin, then listen to the entire Allman Brothers at Fillmore East Album, then go listen to Lady Gaga and Kesha, then jump back to George Jones and Waylon Jennings, then Geto Boys and NWA and finish the night off with some Zeppelin and Skynyrd...

All within the same hour hahaha !!!
