I was gonna marble my custom to get rid of some of the exhaust popping, but noticed some wires connecting to the valve that the hoses go into. Is putting a marble in the hose going to cause any problems? What are the wires for?

Before you marble, try this!!! What i did was take back electrical tape, pull the air hose from the back of the air box and tape over the back air box hole and put the air hose back on. Than if you want to change it back, pull the tape off and your done

wds, that is a great Web site. Thank you!

Diehard rider, that sounds like a better way to do it. I may have to give that a try this weekend. Thanks!

It's not so hard to 'demarble' if you use the right size marble. I can squeeze mine back out of the tube quite easily with pliers (wrap a cloth around the hose to avoid damaging it).

I removed the hoses and put 6-5/8" bypass caps on where the hoses were connected. Tied the air switching valve to the frame. Cleans up the look of the engine.
