what is the best way to clean my fuel injectors? i have had the tank and air cleaner housing off to do a valve clearance change before. would it be best to take the injectors out, blow air through them?

Fuel injectors, unless they are giving a specific problem, are best left alone. My motto is do not go looking for a problem where there is none.
The above is my opinion only!

If you want to make sure they stay clean add a little carb/fuel injector cleaner to a full tank of gas every so often. Remember, that little bottle will treat up to 20+ gallons, so don't use a lot.

yeah, your all right. i just have a bad habit of opening up things i shouldn't. i think if i get in there and keep the gunk out, it might save me in the long run. but that's the problem, you start messing with stuff that's fine, then it brakes on you and your pissed off. thanks for the comeback

A little Seafoam occasionally (maybe once a month) can't hurt either.
