Greetings everyone,

I'm a new rider here, picked up an '09 Vulcan 900 Custom a few months ago. It is bone stock with less than 400 miles on it. Looking a a bat wing from Memphis Shades as a possibility. Any must have accessories I should be looking at?

My guess is you'll be wanting a more comfortable seat after your first 3+ hour ride. I love my mustang, but there are others as well.

You could replace all incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs, to make the bike more visible.

Well here is my list of bolt ons so far

New seat (tried oem gel and now have sadleman solo, but still not as happy as when i had the mustang solo on my 800 classic)

Chin spoiler

Memphis shades bullet fairing (also have one of their windscreens)

Cutom clutch and brake levers

Mirrors

Grips

Mini riot floor boards

Tank bib

Speedo visor

Stealth garage door remote

Swing arm bag

Small indicator lights to clean up the tail

Will be trimming down rear mud flap and moving licence plate up to where the reflector is

Remove rear foor pegs

I think that is it so far!

I have a 2017 and it is hard to find parts, most listing stop at 2015 for some reason. Good thing there were very few changes since then

I put a TKY fairing, from Accessories International, Rush exhaust, Mustang seat and crash bars from Germany.

He means New air intake. I have the Cobra scoop.

Put some aux LED lights so others pay more attention to you.
also an air horn is a must for me.

You'll probably want to get Ivans Flash on your ECU. It made a world of difference on my 1700 and my buddy said its a big improvement on his 900.

I did the Ivan’s on my 900, major difference in acceleration and reduced the brake effect on deceleration.
