Made a rookie mistake and bought regular motor oil from the dealer instead of the synthetic that's in my bike. Since the dealership has a no return policy, I've got 4 quarts of 10W-30 gathering dust on my shelf.

It's not worth the cost and hassle of shipping, but if you're in or around Seattle, feel free to come pick it up.

Thanks,

Alex,

Just letting you know, you can freely switch between synthetic and conventional. The idea that they aren't compatible is actually a myth. It won't hurt anything to run conventional even in a bike that is currently running synthetic.

If you're wanting to stick with synthetic and that's the reason, then go for it! But you made it sound like you are getting rid of this oil because you don't think it will work in your bike, but it will!
