We took a day trip yesterday to the Kansas Motorcycle Museum. It's in the small town of Marquette, Kansas with a population of around 600. The museum was started in '04 as a tribute to local racer Stan Engdahl. Stan and his wife LaVona operated the museum until Stan's passing in '07. LaVona is still the curator. This place was absolutely amazing, with over 100 bikes, most from Stan's private collection and some from friends and others on loan from other museums. It was like walking back in time. Throughout Stan's racing career(1947-1992)he won more than 600 trophies and several championships. He rode HD so most of the bikes are vintage HD's, but there are also some British and very rare Euro bikes as well. Anyway, on to some pics-

If you're ever coming thru Kansas, this is a must see for any motorcycle enthusiast. The town is very welcoming, good cafe's, just a really nice small midwest town. We even made a stop at one of the coolest antique shops I've seen-
