Hi every one, got my self a vn15 last week and all I've done is ride it home as its rained every day since, sunny London, I have a question though, is there any difference between a 1995 vn15 88 and a vn1500 vulcan as I'm trying to order saddle bag supports and can't find any listed for the vn15 88 only the vn1500 vulcan.

Should be the same bike- the 88 means 88 cubic inches, or 1470 CCs, which the 1500s Vulcans actually are.

What matters more is the designation- 1500A, B, C, D, E etc.Yours is probably the twin carb 1500A.

That's a great bike- bulletproof and low maintenance. Enjoy it!

Careful ordering parts. I have a 1500A and parts are hard to come by. Also had the 1500C model for a bit. Only one aftermarket seat by Corbin. Can get custom seats made. Most aftermarket listings are for Classic model which do not fit. Verify before that they are for the 88-99 A/B/C models.
