I kinda mentioned something about this in another thread before. But never really saw an answer to it. I want to change my plugs to Iridium. But I haven't seen them anywhere for our bike. Has anybody done that?

I've been waiting for this!
My last bike immediately got an iridium plug.
I was waiting patiently for someone to broach the subject.

Or would that be "breached"....:D
Well, an hour of research turned up nothing last night.
Apparently NGK doesn't do an iridium plug for the 900.
The spark might be too hot for the Vulcan.

I had a Suzuki S40 and the Iridium was way too hot for it. I did one of my service intervals and changed out the plug (it's just a single-cylinder bike) with an NGK Iridium. About a week later I couldn't get it to start. For days and days I checked everything ... everything but the spark plug. When I finally wised up and checked the plug it was toasted! I put an OEM in there and she ran just fine ever since.

I know there are a lot of people who swear by the Iridiums (and I'm sure they work great on many bikes), but I'm a little leary of using them now.
