I take the bike (2008 Nomad) out and upon returning.. I get this

https://youtu.be/xGoSv35oIO0

The bike is totally off, I get this noise when cooling down.. If I walk away for a few hours, upon returning.. I don't hear it.

The dealer has no idea
friends have no idea
I have no idea

No one seems to know what this.. Lots of guesses though..

Believe it to be pressure in the tank whistling out of the cap vent.
Or maybe your bike thinks you are cute !!!

Seriously...
My Classic does it too.

There is a fix on the Gadget page...

I do always wear ties around the bike.. Finally it's noticing that I'm cute :)

Should I search Tank Pressure on the gadget page?

It was the gas cap.. I was able to re-create the issue last night.. I opened the gas cap slowly, the second I lifted it up, the noise went away.. Thank you folks!

There is a valve around the seal that allows the vacuum to equalize. Look around. May need a bit of play. Also, this can be associated with POOG. Phantom out of gas syndrome.
