I have a 2010 Voyager with 27000km. According to the manual, the idle speed should be 950rpm + or - 50 rpm. According to the tach on my bike it has been more like 750-800rpm if you look at it according to the notchs. Each notch should be 200rpm intervals. I showed the kawi mechanic this at day one. He said the tach is not very accurate, the idle speed is fine. I bumped my idle speed up 150rpm using the handlebar controls recently. The idle speed now stays around 1000rpm or just under. I did this because the idle feels smoother at this setting. The only downfall I see is that when my bike is cold (sat overnight) and I start the bike, the fast idle takes over as usual, but sometimes jumps up to 1700rpm and back down until the fast idle finishs and ends up at around 1000 rpm Has anyone else had any of these experiences? Do you see any problems with me bumping up the idle?

I have a 2009 VV my idle is set at 950rpm. Works fine. Did you get recall notice on the ECU or was that just the 09?
