Howdy everyone,

I want some highway pegs, but don't want the full highway crash bar thing. Even though I now drive the V2K, guess there is still a little cafe racer in the blood. Sort of anyway - the last goodly sized bikes I ran were a Kawi 750 H2 and old Yami 650.

Any idea if this will fit a 2006 VN2000? The ad says through '05.
I emailed them and they only said - "don't know, but yes if the frame and bolt holes have not changed". ...Some help!

Secondly, Any good or bad comments about the outfit? I have never dealt with them or their products.

Thirdly, any better solutions?

OG,

Thanks for the reply. Yours look like what I saw (don't remember if Kury) in a catalog at our local MC accessory shop. They seem like a good possibility, especially if I can't be sure those others will fit. From the pix, it looks like they are a little lower than the MC Enterprise units. The MC shop guy said that would be more comfortable than if too high.

One question... I know I shouldn't do it, but a few times I have hit curves a bit fast doing some mountain road riding. Scraped the floorboards. Are your pegs up high enough that the floor boards would drag before they do?

Thanks,
Woody

Hello Woody

No problem. The Kury-Brackets sit under your floorboards. Under the Kury-Brackets you have to install the scratch blocks again.

The Kury-Brackets rise up the highway pegs round about 2". You have no chance to hit the road.

I bought a set of extendo peg mounts and and clamped them to the downtubes by the radiator. The left one works great but the right one is hard to get your foot flat on because of the big air cleaner. Works for me though. I didn't want big highway bars sticking out and my legs spread out.
