I have a vn900d or so dealer told me all pics a seen is chrome engine cases and heads dashboard mine is black it's an 59 plate yatube says its an classic lt as its got studded seat pillion pad and saddle bags any way to fine out wot it is lol

If I understand correctly you are trying to find out what bike you have. Check on the Vin number.

Look at that VIN number. If "B" is in the number, it's a Classic, if "D" then a Classic LT, if "C" then it's a Custom.

Second letter after the model letter is the year model.

You are basically looking to see if it is a B,C or D model. The D model you think it might be is the touring version with studded seat (as your bike ) windshield ,backrest (not sure about panniers ). Of course a previous owner might have taken the touring version accessories off the bike you have.

My 2017 classic 900 special edition has blacked out engine. Does your bike have 2 tone paintwork with pinstripes ?

If the VIN number does not match any listed in post #3, you can always contact Kawasaki or a dealer and have them look it up.

You definitely have a Classic LT. The D in the VIN # you provided proves that. Looks like some modifications have been done along the way. Not sure of the blacked out engine, side covers and air cleaner cover, but a good looking bike none the less. Unless some one can pipe in on the black out scheme, is it possible the PO swapped out the engine/trans assembly for some reason. All Classic LT models I have seen have chrome side covers, air filter cover and cooling fins.

Yea me to can't sein some one swapping left right engine covers belt cover and 2 cylinder head covers n dash that would be costly some one says they done a limited edition in black not sure thanks for you input appreciated

Patty, the Classic LT comes standard with foot pegs for the passenger. However, Kawasaki offers accessories to add floor boards for the passenger. I know, because I put Kawasaki floor boards on my Classic LT.

Only the special edition has 2 tone paintwork and pin stripes but there does seem to be some anomalies on your bike as others say.
