Hi just picked up a 2002 Mean Streak it has a power commander III on it and a vance and hines exhaust on it and a bigger carb the front forks are leaking but I'm having them rebuilt next week was wanting to know what gas to use I see some people say just regular but if it has mods and a power commander to use premium

I have a PC3, V&H pipes, and a K&N filter on mine. I've used both 87 regular and 91 premium and never noticed a difference. Recently I've switched to pure gas. The local station near me sells pure gas at 89 octane. Again, no noticeable difference. If you can spare the extra dollar or two, just go with premium for peace of mind.
