Hi I posted a similar thread on the forum for 800 Vulcan because I saw a post on that forum with the same problem that I am having. I desperately need to change out my handle on my 900 classic Vulcan. I want a much narrower bar max 29 inches wide with the same 17 inch pullback of the existing bar but have it come closer to the seat. It would also be nice if I didn't have change out the cables to make this work. I have searched everywhere. I found a bar made by Santee 24 ½ W 6” R 15” P 6” C its called 10018 H/BAR HD SUPERBAR W/DIMPLE on a website American Legend Motorcycles
http://www.legendmcs.com/custom-chrome-harley-parts-handlebars-controls/Handlebars-all-other-new.html
You have to scroll down to about the next to last page. I didn't know if going down from the existing 34 inch width to the 24 1/2 inch width of the bar would have any effect on how the bike handled or maneuvered with a bar that size. Also does anyone know if the original handlebars are dimpled or not and does it make a difference if the replacement bar I get is dimpled or not?
There is a really weird handlebar on the Flanders handlebar site it's called A8: Spaghetti Six Bend http://www.sideroadcycles.com/AmericanMotorcycles/Handlebars/Six_Bends/Spaghetti.html
Any one ever used this bar???
Thanks for the help

Less leverage at slower speeds for turning, shouldn't affect it much at higher speeds.
