Can't really see where the leak was but if it was repaired with sealant and there is no leak now I would say it was just a gasket and could be fixed no problem. Just drop the engine and pop the valve cover off and replace.

Thank you. I'm gonna look at the bike today considering a trade deal. Might pass though found some better bikes but this is a local bike lol

That is a common leak on the 15/1600's. Repair with sealant, after a good cleaning, usually works. The rubber plug for the cam gets hard after so many years and heat soaks. It can be replaced, but it is a pain in the butt to do it. Buy the bike if that is the only issue.
