I have a Vulcan 1500 Classic and am considering putting on a carrier rack for my golf clubs.

Has anyone done this and have any ideas?

Thanks...

I carry my golf bag in my truck. When I'm on my bike I'm not thinking of golf.

Rod holders though is another story.

To each his own I suppose. I just would like to combine my 2 favorite summer things together and stop missing out on some great riding days due to my golfing commitments.

A friend of mine had a Goldwing with a trailer hitch. He removed the trailer ball and shaft and had a fabricator at a welding shop make a 16 x 16 platform out of steel grating, run some L rail up each side about 3 ft tall with a 4 sided top rail, one of which was hinged to allow it to be moved out of the way, and welded the whole works to a square tube that would fit inside the trailer hitch setup. He painted it himself with some spray Rustoleum, and the whole thing cost him about 150 bucks.
