You guys helped me with boots, jeans and windshield, now for gloves. After my last and longest ride yet, running at 60mph on the 900 Classic, my hands were a little numb from the vibration. I can imagine how they would feel on a longer trip. I've never worn gloves before as it's hot in SC and I don't ride in the winter. Have seen gel ones on line. Any suggestions on type and where to buy? Thanks in advance.

For hot weather I wear these, Tourmaster Intake gloves. Lots of reviews say that the fingers are too long but I haven't had that problem. Mine fit as close to perfectly as they can. After wearing them for a few weeks they formed nicely to my hands. The gel palms are nice. I've ridden 250 miles in a morning with these without any discomfort.

I used to complain about the wrist closures not being tight enough but after getting them wet a few more times that problem seems to have gone away.

You might try Kury ISO grips. They work and look good. I use gloves with gel insert in the palms. Don't need them much now since i went to ISOs.

The kury ISO grips are nice and will help a lot. I had them on my 1600 meanie. Right now I have the factory grips on my V2K and I have just a cheap set of AGV Sport Mesh gloves i picked up cheap. They have a little big of foam padding on the palm, thumb and up to the middle knuckle of your fingers and that works for me. There is no armor or anything on the back just mesh fabric and a leather strip across your first knuckles.

+1 for gel palmed gloves!

Got some from Joe Rocket that I wear in the summer, and some that a friend gave me (leather lined with deerskin) for the winter. Definitely cuts out the vibration. I also put gel soles in my boots.

Everyone tells me I need a bigger bike to get rid of the vibrations but I got rid of them with some $30 gloves and some $10 insoles! hehe.
