Hello , I seen a thread on euro gears and was wondering if anyone has ever tried reversing the stock gears ? If so how does the bike run ? Is it to big of a change to be useable on the street ? Thanks

The current drive gear is 41T and driven is 50T, by reversing them you will be going almost 1 1/2 times faster than you were as stock given the same engine rpm. This would also cut available torque at the rear wheel down to 67% of what you have as stock, while on some bikes this would be a problem, the V2K could probably pull it, but clutches wouldn't last nearly as long. This assumes the spline form and size is the same for both gears which I cannot confirm.

It wouldn't necessarily have ridiculous top end, still has the same horsepower. It would in theory have a higher top speed if it was redline limited and not drag limited but it certainly wouldn't be in 5th gear. Your current engine speed at 60mph would be your new engine speed at roughly 90mph!
