Hello I am new to the forum just got a sweet deal on a nice bike just wanna make it work I miss riding

I bought a Vulcan voyager for pretty cheap it had been sitting for a long time. The fuel tank has rust in it. I have removed the tank. I have removed every thing but what I think is
the fuel pump. It's a plastic cap with a breather valveand the electrical connector. I can't get it off and I don't want to break it any suggestions on that and how to remove all the rust from inside the tank ..

First I would do a google search for the service manual for your specific model and year bike.
It will more than likely have removal instructions.

Search here on the forum for rust in gas tank for good suggestions
Also search YouTube. There are literally dozens of videos on how to remove rust from your tank
