Fuel pump compatibility

Does anyone know if the Vulcan 1700 fuel pump assembly is compatible with the 900?

A quick search shows part number 49040-0035 for the 1700
49040-0022 for the 900

The pumps look different but might fit although I can't be sure.

@ga75e0 the internal pump, which Kawasaki will not sell to you, is the same. The plastic housings are different. The internal pump is available from highflowfuel.com
