Well, I managed to crack a front turn signal housing on the narrow shed door. I have the replacement but after removing the screw, the old one doesn't want to come off. It looks like it is supposed to *just* slide off.

Any tricks to get it off before I apply brute force or break out the dremel and slit the signal housing sleeve?

Thanks,
Woody

There is an O-ring in there that may have a grip on things. PULL with a very gentle twist back and forth. It will come out, that is if you have removed the screw holding it in.

Thanks... I was considering nitroglycerin! ;)

Woody, Cool Pig is correct , but the Oring can grab pretty good sometimes. you can rotate the housing about 5 degrees either way & then add some KY jelly on reassmbly LOL or any lube of choice LOL
