Buddy of mine has 1600 Classic. Wants new front tire, told him that if he brings the wheel, axle and new tire over I would change it for him.

Loaned him the stepped internal socket I have from Suzuki days, 22mm, just remove pinch bolts and unscrew axle and pull it out.

It won't budge for him, not turn.

Just checking, it IS Right hand thread? Is there anything else to do or look for?

I did mine over the winter if i remember correctly lefty loosy righty tighty kind of thing but I did have to really strong arm it to break it loose. I ended up using another wrench attached the other wrench that was attached to the nut and just gave it everything I had....obviously it was way over torqued by the shop who did it last.
