Hi guys and gals. From south Alabama.

Some years ago I was a member. Had a 96 Voyager. Very nice ride, but I wanted to try other bikes and have traded off and on regular.

Last year I purchase an 04 Nomad and 4 months later in June I had a catastrophic accident and broke whole bunch of me, including my back. Didn't think I'd ever ride again. This month a friend invited me to try out one of his bikes. I did, an 06 900 Classic LT. Long story short he knew of my problems and basically gave me the bike. I thought I'd be scared or apprehensive or just not strong enough, but I'm back after almost a year and 2 months in a medically induced coma while I healed.
I'm indeed indebted to my friend.

My point in all this is to remind each of you just how dangerous and costly our sport can be.
I love our sport and should I some day go down and not get back up it will be alright I will have been doing what I love. Really, how many people can say that, I think bikers for sure.
