My body is telling me I need extensions for my forward controls. I have long legs and now feel cramped.

I have stock foot pegs and not floorboards.

Which ones do you recommend for functionally?

Grumpywirth

OR

Tech Glides

or

MAPAM

I know the Grumpywrith are cheaper, but I want functionality and not too concerned about the price difference on these 3 items..

Which set would you prefer or do you have?

I have the Mapam controls on my 900C. I love the build quality and finish, however they don't really move the distance farther forward at all. Rather about an inch closer to the ground. They are pretty rugged and look decent, but if you are after moving your feet forward I would check out the Tech Glides.

+1 on the Mapam. The set I have are virtually identical to the stock footpeg position. Great quality, great looking, but no functional improvement, which was disappointing.

Thanks Guys.

What is the build quality like on the Tech Glides? I have read some indifferent reviews on them.

Any ideas referred to in this thread that anyone has considered on their VN900C? - http://www.vulcanforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20319&page=2

in particular - Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset Dually ISO-Pegs with 1-1/4 inch Clamps attached to a crash bar??

http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/kuryakyn-longhorn-offset-dually-iso-pegs-with-1-14-inch-clamps-pr/part/KY-4575

It has been referred to in this thread that someone has mounted their kurykyn longhorn highway pegs on the engine guard. Can anyone recommend this option or provide pictures where/how this can occur?

Dare I say it - i may need to install a highway crash bar on my soon to be bobber build....how would these crash bars look on a bobber?
