Use a small funnel or piece of hose.
After you get the fluid to run out here, put the cover on, fill the over flow tank, and heat up the engine. Then recheck for correct level in the overflow after its cold.

yeah tried that, could barely get enough coolant in the there before it started spilling out. Might just have to relocate the thing or remove it altogether

I removed mine altogether.
You can see in this photo, I just ran a single hose.
Topped everything off, and connected hose as quick as possible.
Never had any issues
